Buses stop outside the property for
the island circular tour coastal route, and for St Peter Port (3
miles).
Shopping: Across the coast road, 200
yards from the site, there is a butchers which also sells essential
groceries, an off-licence, a delicatessen, and a local pub/hotel.
Cobo village centre is about 10 minutes walk along the coast road,
or along the beach. This includes a supermarket (open until 9pm),
post office, general store, chemist, doctor's surgery, NW bank and a
garage. For those who don't wish to cook there is a fish and chip
shop, a Chinese restaurant (with takeaway), a hotel and a pub (both
serving food), There are hundreds of eating establishments on the
island, ranging from beach kiosks to specialist restaurants. |
